‘Then they said to each other, “we’re not doing right. This is a day of good news and we are keeping it to ourselves. If we wait until daylight, punishment will overtake us. Let’s go at once and report this to the royal palace.” 2 Kings 7:9

What made these four leprous men celebrities? This has been a question on my mind since the beginning of these series. I was thinking it was because they rose up, challenged the status quo; but much more than that, they rose up to share the good news. When was the last time you shared the GOOD NEWS? How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news? Ro.10:15
I have good news for someone who has lost HOPE, depressed, confused. Jesus saves and cares about you. At the cross He took the letter EVIL and rearranged them to LIVE. Ro.8:34, 5:15

“For God so loved the WORLD that He gave his only begotten Son that WHOSOEVER BELIEVES in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 This good news is not about joining or changing religion, but receiving the everlasting LIFE that God gave Humanity through Christ Jesus by faith. John 1:1-13. Your wisest decision is to say YES to God’s call.

Adam’s fall brought the loss of the nature of God. When He fell, the whole of creation fell with him. (Gen.3). Evil reigned supreme and humanity lost his authority to Satan, Satan became the god of this world. By dying and coming back to life, Jesus conquered death. You can almost hear the devil laughing, thinking he has got rid of Jesus. Then, with the same power that created the universe, Jesus defeated death. In fact Jesus crushed death with greater force than death itself ever had.

Jesus came to give us the Kind of life that God has (the God kind of life). John 10:10.  He came to impart us with the divine nature we lost, this enables us to live above the Corruption and EVIL in the world system. He delivered us from the dominion of death and brought us into Supernatural life in God. He restored back our Sonship, authority, relationship and fellowship with God! Hallelujah now we are now part of Gods Family.

We have a choice to BELIEVE OR NOT WHAT HE DID AND MAKE THE CHOICE TO FOLLOW HIM
If you are ready to make that wisest decision of accepting what Jesus did. Just say this prayer and believe in your heart.

“Lord Jesus, I thank you for dying for me and giving me your life. I accept your love and I ask you to come into my life. I ask you to be my Lord and Saviour. (Ro. 10:9-10,13). Thank you for saving me. Amen!
You are born again!

 Sam Adeyemi wrote in The Parable of Dollar, "Money will always flow away from those who do not know how to treat it well to those who know how. Money flows from tenants to landlords, from commuters to transportation companies, and from those who buy to those sell." You just need to be positioned on the right divide and aligned for financial success

In this post, I want to share with you what I discovered about these four leprous men- Financial and Business Intelligence, and wisdom for financial success. I've taught this same topic in several seminars and workshops, but I'm  so excited seeing it in the light of God's word. God wants you to prosper!

"...they carried there silver, and gold, and clothing and hid it; AND THEY CAME AGAIN, and entered into another tent, and carried from there also, and went and hid it."( 2Kings 7:8). That's Financial Intelligence!

Maybe today, they would save, then buy real estate in Dubai, invest in Portfolio at Berkshire Hathaway Inc., or ATM 20/40. Then, travel to the best hospital in India to receive medical treatment, marry beautiful damsels, enrol their children for a B.sc degree in International Business Management at the Harvard or Hult Business School; and later establish homes(ministry) for lepers. What do you think?

These guys ate their intestines out, carried silver, gold and clothing, but did not forget to SAVE!

Wisdom for  financial success.

1. Never allow any form of waste in your life from today(food, time,opportunities, resources, money, etc.)

2.Increase your asset(whatever generates money) purchase and reduce your liabilities (whatever drains money)
3. Save, then invest!
4.Never buy what you don't need except it is really needed.
5. Get financial education! Attend seminars and workshops. Your learning determines your earning. Expose yourself also to the light of God's words.
6. Create a wealth Map. I recommend Adeolu Akinyemi's book on 'creating a wealth map'.

If four leprous men could save despite being jobless, how much more  you and I? Beloved, increase your capacity by the grace of God for financial success.

FROM NONENTITY TO CELEBRITY 5

The story of this young woman interests me and I know it will bless you. Her name is Jessica Cox.

She was born in 1983 in Arizona, and she is the world's first licensed armless pilot, as well as the first armless black-belt in the American Taekwondo Association. She has two black belts in Taekwondo the last time I checked. She was BORN WITHOUT ARMS due to a rare birth defect. She EARNED her pilot's license in October 10, 2008, after 3 years of training, and is qualified to fly a light sport aircraft to altitudes of 10,000 feet; Jessica Cox flew in a single engine airplane for the first time via Wright Flight. She received her flight training through an Able Flight Scholarship, and soloed under the instruction of Parrish Traweek.

Cox has not used prosthetic arms since she turned 14. Using her feet as most people use their hand, she is able , among many other things to drive a car with an unrestricted license and she drives without modifications. She can type on a keyboard (25 words per minute), pump her own gas, put in and remove her contact lenses. She is also a certified SCUBA diver. Cox holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Arizona and she works as a motivational speaker, and has shared her message in over 18 different countries.

Jessica Cox rose up from physical limitations, and transcended her circumstances. The four leprous men also 'arose in the twilight to go to the Syrian camp despite bodily limitations. You can rise above limitations too.

You are inexcusable! Break yourself out of self-defeating cycle of repeated patterns and habits! Step into all that God has for you.

You will succeed!

You don't need any history in the flesh to carry out divine assignment. Greater possibilities respond to simple, but giant steps of faith. Those  four leprous men  ROSE UP by the inspiration of God after strategic planning.

You need to rise for #success. You don't sit in the valley of the shadow of death, you rise up and walk through for God is with you. One with God is a super ninja. Those who give in to complacency, end up as nonentities.

A young guy by the name Kyle Clarke created an online campaign called 'Hire me' in which he encouraged employers to bid for him, and he ended up with more than he knew to do with in a time of recession.

Alex Tew invented the #Million Dollar Homepage to raise money for his university education, a website in which he sold one million pixels, grossing him over one million dollars and spawning among many copy cat.

John Pemberton turned common medicinal syrup into a cultural phenomenon by combining it with carbonated water and serving it as a refreshing drink. #Coca cola is now the most widely known beverage on the planet.

Why sit there till you die? Rise up because there's a greater one on your inside. Augment yourself buddy! Push yourself! Stretch! Multiply your divine ability!

As you rise this week, doors are opened, opportunities abound for you, and your week is graced with wonders. Rise dude!

Which one do you prefer? To be eaten by a lion or to be strangulated by a python in the jungle, with an exception that you are not the George of the Jungle? None I guess? These four guys had 3 options but chose the deadliest. What was their game plan?

"It happens that four lepers were sitting just outside the city gate. They said to one another, "What are we doing sitting here at death's door? If we enter the famine-struck city we'll die; if we stay here we'll die. So let's take our chances in the camp of Aram and throw ourselves on their mercy. If they receive us we'll live, if they kill us we'll die. We've got nothing to lose." -2 Ki.7:3-4(msg)

The problem : WHY SIT STILL HERE TILL WE DIE?
The issues:
1. Go into the city> we die
2. Sit still > we die of hunger
3. Fall unto the army of Syrians> they save or kill us.
3a. If they save us> we live
3b. If they kill us> we die. It's 50:50!

These guys had no project management pedigree, not even a certification in problem solving techniques; yet adopted a project management technique called 'the issue tree', with a McKinsey touch . I love the insightful breakdown!

Take note that 'an issue tree is a graphical breakdown of question that dissects into its different components vertically and that progresses into details as it reads to the right. They are useful in problem solving to identify the root causes of a problem as well as to identify its potential solutions. This was exactly what these guys adopted.

The lesson: You can navigate your way out of any difficult situation with the right approach and a  positive attitude. 

We can learn 3 things from these guys.
1. Don't isolate yourself when things are difficult.
2. Make informed decisions.
3. Then, rise up! Make a rebound! 

Never stay down when you are knocked down.

I shared in the previous post about four leprous men who changed the  course of a nation. What comes to your mind when you hear names like Mandela, Lincoln, Clinton, David, Elijah, Aminu Kano, Ojukwu, Kanu, Ronaldiho, Durotoye, (put your name there)? Identity, privileges, power, certifications! Right? These four guys had none! No track record, no identity, no affiliation, no pedigree. They were outcast and had no portion in the city.

The moral of this is that 'if you take your chances with God in life, you've got nothing to lose; but you become a top loser when you accept fate.
Put your faith in God to work and take that giant step! Why sit you there till you die?

ARE YOU MEASURING UP?

The world has set some criteria to measure success. You can find these criteria in the world of sport, the woods(Hollywood, Nollywood and Bollywood), in the world of business, religion, academics, politics and razzmatazz.

I love the way Steve Farrar captions  it in his book, Finishing Strong, ' ...we look at some guy's build, or his tailored suit, or his luxury car, or his track record of accomplishments, and compare ourselves. We find ourselves wishing we could have what he has or do what he does or speak like he speaks or make money like he makes money...'. The point is external accomplishments can be false indicators of success.

I've come to term with this truth that true success has a lot more to do with WHO WE ARE than WHAT WE ACCOMPLISH. This truth will help us in living a guided life, and not just dancing to the tunes of  'modernism', 'attainism' and 'copyism'. The life of a man does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses,...

Please, don't try to measure up to the world, you are not from here, you are just living here. #Follow after God!

FROM NONENTITY TO CELEBRITY (1)

It's a story of four leprous men that changed the course of a nation. The world does not celebrate nonentities, but God does not make nonentities too. Take that to the bank!

"It happens that four lepers were sitting just outside the city gate. They said to one another, "What are we doing sitting here at death's door? If we enter the famine-struck city we'll die; if we stay here we'll die. So let's take our chances in the camp of Aram and throw ourselves on their mercy. Four men that changed the course of a nation. I was in a Bible Study when I just connected this story to the teaching. Pastor was sharing with us on how God's strength is made perfect in our weaknesses; just like Light find more expression in darkness, solutions, in puzzles; answers were made for questions.
God leverages on our inabilities to show himself strong.

There was famine in the land of Samaria which had resulted in a necessary cannibalism. People were dying of hunger inside the city, and the host of the Syrians had camped outside against Israel. The nation had spent so much on war, and the economy had been plunged into the abyss of 'melt down'. The minister of finance had recommended severe austerity measures,... but these four outcasts( name unknown) asked a question that change the course of the nation. WHY SIT HERE TILL WE DIE?

If we fail to ask creative question like this, as an individual, and as a nation when the chips are down; we may end up questioning our existence.

Maybe, you don't have a job, 'why sit there till you die?' Maybe you have failed in business, relationship, in fact, the food store is empty, the account is red, and your employers are owing, and the society has rejected you, why sit there till you die? Take a cue from these four derelicts and make a move.
